Justice For Families is a national advocacy organization working to transform youth justice by centering the leadership of systems-impacted families. We advance change through organizing, policy reform, family support, and community-based programs.
Our approach moves beyond traditional legislative advocacy to invest in grassroots civic engagement and community leadership. We train and support families and youth to understand policy, challenge systemic harm, and take collective action. From voter education and direct service to intergenerational workshops and public campaigns, our programs help shift power to those too often excluded. By organizing for racial and gender justice, we address the root causes of family destabilization and equip impacted communities with the tools to lead change.
We support systems-impacted families through a mix of education, organizing, and advocacy. By combining data-driven approaches with lived experience, Justice For Families advances child welfare and youth justice reform; and expands access to family advocacy services. Our process includes intensive leadership development, research partnerships, and direct community engagement to achieve long-term policy change. From youth advocacy services to peer navigator training, every offering is rooted in equity and sustainable impact.
We are a grounded, community-led organization with decades of shared lived experience. We provide family advocacy services that prioritize healing, education, and community mobilization, helping families become agents of change. Our family and youth advocacy services empower young people and families to lead initiatives that directly affect their lives. Unlike traditional institutions, we challenge systemic harm through community-led strategies that push child welfare and justice reform beyond policy into practice. Through sustained engagement, we offer family and youth advocacy services that equip communities with the skills and tools needed to create lasting impact.
